Lilly is a visual artist who keeps drawing and its immediacy central to her practice. She is drawn to the poetics of intimacy and the dynamic that oscillates between people. Her work suggests the emotional complexities of people relating to one another and the environment that shapes them. Lilly subtly subverts the roles we play in daily life and questions the societal structures that influence us. Through non verbal communication and the unspoken word, she articulates human connection with our visual senses, touch and tactility and the language of materiality.

Lilly has lived and worked on the west coast, east coast and now finds herself in the centre of Australia where the isolation of the desert and dynamics of a small community are reshaping her practice. Her work has exhibited nationally and is housed in both private and public collections. Lilly is currently lecturing at Charles Darwin University and practicing art in Mparntwe, Alice Springs.
